Check to make sure the data server and network connectivity is up and running. It may be a while since you logged in and since that time some problems with the network or data server has occured.

If the mouse is stuck on the screen and the cursor doesn't move when the mouse is moved.

Check to see that the keyboard is working. Hold CTRL key while pressing ESC key. If nothing happens, try CTRL-ALT-DEL. And from the task manager choose "End Task" for NarcOptix. Then shut down the computer. Start it back up from a cold boot -- in other words... turn the PC off. If the keyboard is also stuck, turn the PC off by holding down the On/Off switch. If that does nothing, unplug the PC.

Turn the mouse 3D shadow settings off from the Windows Control Panel.
